8.5 feet does seem alot, but it does go from a t-piece just below the fresh air inlet, right back to the flexipipe just above the rear axle and its not the most flat surface to run a pipe along.
i also replaced the master cylinder in servo pipe, which was 4.8 feet long. it goes from the master cylinder, along the gearbox xbeam and up the passenger side to the servo. i tried to take it around the front of the engine, but the whole are is occupied with another brake pipe and the wiring harness, so i just put it around where it was before.
I also did a lovely little spiral, which looks quite nice.
just another quick question,
when did motor factors only stock pipe ends with a very fine thread? the ones that came off my moggy where very coarse, anyway, its all fixed, but i discovered that the rear drivers brake cylinder was seized on totally, so thats being mended.
yet another reason why my brother should never of been given the car, every time i open the bonnet or lift a carpet, yet more signes that it has been thrashed about and not looked after.
