I understand what you meen with the bonnet locking. Ididn't know that the earliest had a chain.Ian46 wrote:Hi Kim,

The earlier versions were similar but instead of a spring had a chain to hold the stay in the open position. Only a small detail but it is correct for when your car was made.
I have found an article in a car magazine that referred to early Minors which were exported to Sweden not having heaters as standard. It might explain why someone has tried to get warm air through to the interior using the tube shaped collar bolted to the bulkhead.

Maybe that's why there is hole in the bulkhead. But i still don't know why this car is RHD. I was told that the car in Sweden was LHD even if they drove on the right side of the road.
Maybe my car was used as a postoffice car in Norway??? I know they used to have RHD cars as that here in Norway.
Hopefully i will recive some papers of the car tomorrow. The last registrated information of the car is from 1958
