im going to either but new bits or send them to a place in blackburn that do a better job. my dad has had stuff done there and were the is a corner it has all gone yellow. thanks for the offer. how much have you done to your minor now alainmoran

Hmm I may have to find out about that place in blackburn too then ... the way I figure it is that if I have the originals re-plated then they should last longer than the quick flash-plating that new parts will get in china.
Well I have swapped the engine out for the decent one, suspension is now level, steering aligned, electrics all work properly, I still have a dodgy wheel bearing but it's ok for now.
Mechanically everything is great, I still have a fair bit of work to do on the interior though, I made a start on that today and have mounted the speakers ... I still need to wire up the amps though.
