i thought the MMOC had a way of helping young members get there morris insured a bit cheeper
Yes, it's via Footman James, but you need to be a club member to qualify for a discount. Details already posted for Maverick in this thread:

aren't fj and flux linked?

Personally stuff a 1275 and discs on and tell the insurance company that you have no knowledge of the engine size and they will ask you for the bhp, guess at 60 and I would think you would get away with that.

FJ & AON are linked for sure, not certain about Flux....?
My 1275 didn't make any difference to my insurance at all - I'm with FJ and they said is was a common mod so no increase in premiums :-)

Thought you may be interested in the supercharged Zetec track car we used at the National.

Car now undergoing final paint, uprated discs, arch extentions for wider wheels and tyres, plus a loom and lights to make it road legal.
Image
What size wheels are you going to stick on it Jonathon, the rear arches are 2" wider before the extensions go on?

The rears a 8x15" but with 235 Toyo's the fronts are only staying 6x15"with 205 Toyo's to cope with the extra AP 4 pots and give a better footprint on corners as the 195's were washing out a bit.
We have multiple sets of wheels which we are inclined to use rather than spending more money on different offsets. The rears will be 4" oversive but only because we are lowering the car further and need plenty of clearance.

Cheers Maverick, and yes it is, 308bhp at the moment, with 420bhp an option sometime in the futere, depending on how the std Minor parts hold up.
Its missing the spoiler atm, a new one with a splitter will be re fitted along with brake cooling and other small tweeks.
