I find the differences in awareness of the Series III across the pond is interesting. 1959 was the biggest production of US spec Minors. So much so that many weren't sold until 61 or 62. A true 61 or 62 model is very rare here, so I might miss some of the late Series III changes.
First, convertibles had no sun visors at all. Perhaps later Series III did but I don't think they were added until the interior had the major change in 64-65.
I don't recall seeing a convertible without stainless window frames until Series IV.
The fresh air intake was added to the round heater in early 59. The intake is underneath the crossmember where the rack is mounted. Both standard and deluxe had the fresh air addition. I'm sure it stayed this way until the new heater was used with the fresh air coming from the grille and the bulkhead stamping was changed to have the pass through hole.
