Window seals

Here's a photo of mine. Pity they were not about a 1/2" longer as the silicon does not look the best. Fitting was easy-just be carefull not to drop the clips. If you remove the door cards, use some rags or old towels to stop anything falling into the bottom of the doors.

Having had a look at the manual, it would appear that the way to do this is to remove the door top completely, is this correct? Also, is it advisable to order new clips before taking the door apart?

Don't remove the door top as you won't get it back in with the seals in place. You would be as well buying new clips as the old ones will probably be in poor condition. I fitted the inner seal first, then the outer lip seal. I had to gently squeeze the clips closed a bit as it was impossible to push them into the holes in the door as they were (everything dosed in waxyoil).
The lip seal I purchased (2 door) was not long enough to go past the window aperature, so I did as above - not the best, but it works.
If I remember correctly I had to trim a fraction off the B post side to get a neat fit.
