Louise M and several others suggested an area on this site dedicated to restorations, it would be a great move as it would be easier to keep tabs on like for like projects, any moderators out there agree?

100% respect to anyone attempting restorations like this. I agree David a area dedicated to restorations is a must, it may even attract more people to attempt this sort of thing. Which in all is what the club should be entertaining.

I agree as well. A dedicated area on this forum for restorations would be great. It would also encourage those of us undertaking a restoration to get on with it!

Wish I could update this thread, but I've not had a second to do anything to the traveller the last few months!

Absolutely agree. I have a slow Traveller restoration on the go too (learning to weld first) so I'll be paying rapt attention to this project. Mine is not as bad as yours, but it just goes to show what is possible. You have one attentive student here at least

Well here's a couple of 'before and after' photos of my Traveller. I started work properly on it last week and I got as far as cutting out some of the rot and replacing a rear front spring hanger. It's only tack welded in at the moment in case it's not lined up properly!

And I thought my Trav was rusty! If the Morry looks as good as the beetle does when you are finished we are in for a treat!
