That's interesting info, Marky, so by "waisting" I presume they mean on a lathe down to the diameter of the spline cuts.
BTW, I've seen a customers Minor with "uprated" half shafts, the type with a big nylock nut on the wheel end. One of them leaked gear oil into the drum from new due to a design fault. To the half shaft companie's credit they supplied the chap with replacements. Let's see how these go. But really, unless you have a very highly tuned engine and do drag racing the standard half shafts should cope.
