This is at work.
At home it's "up to 8 meg" which in practice means 2 meg :(

Not too bad for out in the "sticks" but I've always thought this test to be a bit generous with the reults compared to others?

In my case I usually get 7.6mb between 1am and 3pm, then from then on it degrades right down to 150kb (or less !)

I gave up bothering my isp to complain it was slow, I just hope we switch come May (end of contract)...

We live in a rural district. Spare a thought for some of our more remote areas where they get to use a 56K modem which sometimes manages to connect at up to 28K. They also have no mobile coverage - but then I quite envy them that.

Hi I have mobile broadband with 3 network as no land line here, I struggle to even get 56k a lot of the time despite being in a so-called "good coverage "area.

Deff one to avoid even though it's cheap!

I've got an Apple........

Computer is fast!

Internet isn't, due to phone line and living out in the sticks.

Can't have everything. Spring is stunning out here in the country. :D

I used to get a clean 8Mb, but that was when I lived within a stones throw of the exchange. Since moving I've been lucky to get over 1.5Mb, but BT are claiming to be 'upgrading the exchanges' this year so this could double soon....

But I'm with you on the 'better in the sticks'. The sun just seems brighter here....
