I'm getting tired of all this "appeals" rubbish. You have to wait a week now to find out who won and where the others finished. If it carries on like this I'll stop watching it

McLaren are obviously not to be allowed to get any sort of 'lead' on Ferrari. If I was Lewis - I would be seriously considering a new career doing something completely different!

If they all played by the rules then there would be no need for 'appeals'.
Mclaren do seem to be their own worst enemy at times  :-?

I rekon it was "Big Ron" who leaked the Mosely story to the News of the World....... Allegedly :-)

I suspect what happened was - Trulli went 'off track' under SC rules, and lewis passed him. Trulli got back on - and Lewis knew he was in the wrong and pulled over to let Trulli re-pass (this is Trulli's version) - and then Trulli was booked for passing under SC rules. Mclaren stayed quiet instead of 'owning up' (which would have kept Lewis the 4th place he deserved) - but seems there was 'radio traffic' - presumably where Lewis was told to pull over and let Trulli re-pass, and this has now come to the attention of the Stewards!

Well - it turned out even worse than I thought! What utter fools for telling lies - I'm amazed Hamilton wasn't banned from the next race(ie tomorrow) or even for the whole season! And a Million Pound fine for both McLaren and Hamilton wouldn't have gone wrong either. The sad thing is - if they had told the truth, very possibly he would have retained the awarded 3rd place! Hamilton overtook Trulli perfectly legitimately since Trulli was right off the track (what else could he do!) - but Trulli had no right to repass Hamilton, although Hamilton did pull over and slow so Trulli really had no sensible choice but to pass. I can't see Hamilton (or McLaren) recovering from this mess - they must surely go their separate ways now - and who will want Hamilton on their team ??
Good thing we have Brawn and Button to support instead!

Couldn't agree more BMC with everything you say :-? I think they all got off very lightly.. Would be nice to see Button win his second race of 2009
I half watched the qualifying and Hamilton was I think 13th... unlucky for some

I hoping for big success from Jenson this year. He's really got his mojo up at the moment and it will be exciting to watch. Just wish the races could be decided on the track though....

Well done Button

I wonder if the wipers on a Moggy would have helped them out   never seen rain like that, I think they did right to stop the race in the end.... that Ferrari was taking in water everywhere but did well to float :-?

Well its the Chinese GP on Sunday, Button is leading the practise times and diffusers are now legal (what ever they are). Missed the last GP so this will be the 1st one I'll get a chance to watch on the box. Is the BBC coverage as good as ITV (without the adverts)?

I never did find out who won the boat race.

No - the commentary is 'wooden' (and generally un-informed) in the extreme - and with no ad breaks, how am I supposed to get a fresh cup of tea ?
