Youyr ISO 32 will be fine - it's a straight industrial hydraulic oil. When cold it will be pretty much like 20W50 - so just use either. If the dampers are leaking - it obviously won't 'heal them up' ! But if not leaking - it shouldn't do any harm - hasn't harmed mine in many a year!

Thanks again. I changed the oil in the rear dampers for 20/50, and now have a fully up-together suspension system.
Funny the difference it makes, and how the deterioration in performance crept up on me without my particularly noticing, so that the awful juddering when hitting an uneven surface while cornering had become just something I lived with, in a "O well, it didn't kill me that time" sort of way.
It's running lovely now. I laugh at pot holes. Ha. ha.

Glad to see its not just me who had trouble with that top pin.
I'd have broken the profanity filter if I'd come on here after to talk about it.
Front damper oil makes a heck of a difference. I used 20/50 in mine too because I had some lying about at the time. No more bottoming-out eh?
