Keep the names coming.. love it!!
another question i should have put in the original post is that it came with a second car for spare.
the second car is a four door but a bit well actually alot grottier than mine!!
have included a bigger pic where you can just see the front of it behind my car
the old owner will hold onto it for a bit until i figure out what i want off it and then he know some one who will take the rest...
so my question to you is
what would you take off it??
thanks heaps

It depends whether you have the space to store larger panels - if you have and the wings are ok take them. Being a four door the interior will be different, but the front seats (frames) may be worth having. Interior switches, steering wheel, chrome. A spare engine/gear box are always useful even if just for parts - thats if they are the same cc. and the cars are of a similar age.

my last one cost me $250!!
it died a fantastic death on a freeway nine years ago and have been driving around in husbands car, oh and briefly a leg powered scooter, since!

You will learn much by having a moggy
Lord knows I have, I've only been tinkering with em since 2002 and still have much to learn!

Well it wont be long for you to wait - the date of 1st registration should be in the log book details which will also tell you the engine size. I'm sure you'll have many happy hours chugging around together. Once you've driven a moggy (sorry morrie) a modern just isn't the same

Don't forget to send us pictures when she/he arrives.

Cor, Get the slaker awake now! You need your driveway scrubbed for the arrival of a majestic vehicle!

Just check the first few digits of the chassis number.
If MA2S 3 then it's a 948 engine
if MA2S 5 then 1098
Assuming it's the same on Oz cars

Karen, if you check the engine number it will start with a "9" if it is a 948 engine or "10" if its a 1098 engine. Actually check the car though and not the docs as it may have been changed and not had the docs updated. If there is no engine number we'll tell you what else to look out for. You just getting up and we're just off to bed !!
See you in the morning

the five year old is off too school, the three year old should be handy with a broom enough to help... but not too much hope for the one year old!!
maybe i could make him a suit of scrubbing brushes and let him loose on the driveway!
