Contacted DVLA, told not our problem
Unless they catch you doing it. In which case they'll stick you in prison.
One would imagine.
Don't they have some way to record these reports so any appeal to re-register the number is flagged up as suspect?

Its still here : http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1960-Morris-Minor ... 240%3A1318

You must have looked at the link for the first listing as that has gone but the re-listed item is still active.
Thanks to everyone who has reported it so far :D :D

Has anybody contacted the seller to explain his 'wrongness'?
I'm quite happy to outbid any other bidder.

I can see nothing wrong with the listing on ebay. However some of the deliberate actions proposed on this forum are bordering on unlawful. I suggest you get a life and don't waste police time.

Really... Your post is so wrong.

Selling a V5 and it's identity without a car is breaking the law sir. Keep up.

It is wrong and unlawful. The V5 is the property of the DVLA and cannot be sold any more lawfully than you can sell the passports of the deceased.

So if that's the case why does Ebay encourage people to report such listings?

Judging by the posting I suspect that copper54 is the seller of the items in question

The seller ended this listing early because the item is no longer available for sale.
