flitch repair panel RP124AR

Best order to fit? anything I should be aware of? anything else I have missed on sill hinge?

Feeling a little better due to advice and encouragement of forum

From your photos, it looks like you may also need the inner sill front and rear - I call it the inner sill but supplier calls it a floor edge repair.
RP134R
RP135R

Then outer sill -
RP108AR

From memory, the outer sill is welded to the boxing plate, the inner sill (floor edge repair) is welded to the outer sill then the floor. Your sill finisher and kick plates are non-structural and just bolt/screw on.

But check first. This diagram explains it well -

Hi ade,

If you start a new topic in the bodywork section titled "help needed positioning hinge post" people may see you request quicker. ;)

I'm sure some posters actively look to help, some responses can be fast.

Probably difficult to say for sure without seeing the car but I would suggest re-hanging the door (assuming that you have removed it) then getting the position set up properly, leave the door shut then go in from the other side and weld in a temporary brace between the hinge post and B pillar then another temp brace between the hinge post and floor (to stop the post moving in and out)

Then you can safely remove the door and replace the rotten metal with the post in the correct place.

Good luck :)
