If it helps Ben out, then just give him the ones you were going to sell to me and I'll source some more.
Hope they fit.
Cheers

Tim, if the wheels are reserved for plastic orange and they fit then he is most welcome to take them

I would be grateful if you could keep me updated as to the availability of the wheels if they fit so we can sort out what to do with the ones I have here. It is a shame that Wolfrace stopped production of these wheels as they do seem to be very popular, or maybe thats just because they are quite rare now
Cheers guys

If the wheel does not line up, it is not for a morris minor, I would say the story ends there!
Sorry posted this from page 1 not realising there was a 2nd page with more info!

Drilling new holes at 90 deg will end up where they are?!
Lots of holes doesn't sound a good idea.

OK I said it wrong.

What I meant is redrill inbetween existing holes.
Simple job for a wheel specialist although probably not worth the hassle on these wheels.
Often specialist keep wheels as blanks and only drill to the PCD when ordered - saved having to keep numerous different PCD's for same style.

Yes - drill new holes at 45 degrees from the existing holes- the new hole to be on the correct 4" pcd! These wheels are 'solid' in the centre - so strength won't be compromised - but of course the original holes will be visible, if that's a worry ?

There is a good possibility that we can arrange for the production of new 13" slot mags. I'm in contact with the original manufacturers who still hold the tooling. Unfortunately a batch of 50 wheels is required in order to make a production run. Speculative price for a polished or diamond cut 13" Minor PCD wheel with correct center bore and offset send a pm for more inforamtion.
I'm sure that the Ford guy's might also be interested which will boost the numbers for production runs.

Cheers for all the help on this guys. I dont think these wheels would be worth re-drilling and also wouldn't the extra two small holes be in the way? Anyone know if there is someone I can contact about the possibility of having them re-drilled? Cheers all

visit a local engineering company best bet.
jonathon would 14" not be a better bet (i run 13" cobra slots on my ford)

They would, but only the tooling for the 13" rims are left. I did ask about 15's as this is our choice of size ,but they are not available

I always think 13" wheels look a bit 'lost' on a Minor.

They fill the wheel arches with 175/80 tyres on them, almost the same rolling radius as the original cross plies

175/80 13 gives 840 revs/mile. The alternative equivalent to standard (145/80 14) gives 872 revs/mile and 155/80 14 gives 849 revs/mile. Mike probably has the figures for the original crossplies for comparisson purposes....

The figures were published on this forum some time ago but I think the measurements for the cross plies were missing. I just ran a tape measure around the two tyres as a rough check and the 175/80s were slightly larger which helps to correct the speedo over reading.
The cross plies were larger than the 155/80 radials, having I believe an 88% ratio

You have to look a rim size and the aspect ratio of the tyre as 2 separate things.
Here are some examples:
Here, for those of you who can't or won't calculate your tire size, is a table of equivalent tires. These all give rolling radii within a few mm of each other and would mostly be acceptable, depending on the wheel rim size you're after.

Picky,
Just exchange them with ratrodmog - he needs them more than me, but if he doesn't want them, just let me know.
Cheers
