The timing belt for the 2-litre is different from the 1600. Try one of the specialists I gave links for.
As for the oil pressure T-piece, I blocked the other end of with a Sierra oil pressure switch.

That looks like it. To be honest, the T-piece I bought was marked "Vauxhall & late Ford". To me a Sierra is a late Ford, but possibly one for, say, an Astra might also be suitable.
