Please not another 'sticky', there are EIGHT on this page as it is. We'll be running out of space for posts soon!

Yes, I agree that information by majority opinion isnt perfect .. just look at some of the darker corners of wikipedia ... its still however more useful than trying to search a forum since the information can be more easily structured and thus retrieved.

If there is anyone that is interested in contributing to a wiki of morris information then I can get one setup in a jiffy at adaptavist.com. We can use that server for as long as we like or eventually move to an MMOC one if it proves useful.

With his reference to bibendum I thought he was talking about a French Tyre manufacturer :)

We know from experience that there are certain areas on our cars that can hide a huge amount of corrosion due to cavities and hidden panels - but this is not obvious to the newbies and those that hand work over to the professionals (and live in hope).
There are some of us out there who have photographic restorations of corroded cars. Can I suggest we have a sticky of two showing graphically examples of visibly small rust problems that hide/hint at big areas of corrosion? As an example, the trailing edge of the front wing that hides the multiple inner panels.
Sounds like a good idea :D I also have a good number of photos taken when I restored the Traveller, photos like this (if this is what you are after)

Correct - especially nonsense computer generated Latin...

In varius posuere lorem. Praesent rutrum, ipsum id vulputate condimentum, nunc eros rhoncus lacus, id porttitor sem est et eros! Cras ac nulla ac ante aliquet varius. Ut commodo massa ac erat. Donec facilisis est et lectus. Praesent porttitor vestibulum nunc. Mauris congue dolor eu sapien! In blandit orci nec lectus. Aenean rhoncus vehicula dui. Cras mauris est, dapibus quis, euismod eu, hendrerit at, sem. Aliquam erat volutpat. Ut sit amet leo vel enim condimentum hendrerit. Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur sed.

So there :D

How dare you steal my photo!! I'm sure thats my moggy! Strange though, the paint looks a different colour! I like the idea of this wiki thing as a lot of info is out there in the posts, a lot is constantly being repeated, and am I the only one who finds the search function a bit too all enveloping?, therefore making it easier to post a question than wade through loads of possible leads. Not just bodywork, but things like a definitive Wolseley brake conversion, disc conversion comparison; a 940 head guide; a 5 speed/ overdrive comparison- just three that come to mind. Trouble is finding someone to write up some of this stuff- now who would do a write up on Wolseley brakes?

MGFMad, that's a great photo. But for my idea to work we need the before photo too. The other thing we need to remember is that, from experience, we can work out what part of the car that is. To the newbie that's a indistinguishable load of rotten metal. The before and after views need to be from the same car or the same proportions and angle.
