I was wrapped up warm.
Two T-shirts, a jumper, a body warmer, 2 pairs of trousers and a pair of overalls over the top of the lot.
And a hat of course

And the Fire of youth I suspect! My old bones were jolly miserable working inside the garage - even with good wrapping up!
But - in my youth - I have changed a Mini clutch in a snowstorm at Cadwell Park! Working completely outdoors - no fancy tent-workshops in those days!!

Yep the fire of youth. Thou is was dying out by the end of the day
And working in the snow is just nuts
Reminds me of one of my Dad's stories

. He had the engine out of a car working on it and it started to snow, it got pretty bad so he brought the engine into the kitchen and put it on the side of the dishwasher
Way before my time but I'm told we was posh to be having a dishwasher back then (70's ish) and my Mum was not best pleased

yup - so is replacing a crossmember when it's snowing whilst laying on ice, when everyone else is in side having a christmas party.
