Finally found the time to finish everything and go for a drive. I'm impressed with the performance and I'm only using very light throttle openings at the moment but there is every indication that the engine wants to run. 70mph on the GPS came very quickly, considering, and wanted to give more. I've not fitted the diff yet so its still on the 4.22 but with the 3.9 in it will be a very happy cruiser. The sharp eyed amonst you will notice a small difference from my original plan...??

and please excuse the disgusting state of the engine bay :oops:

Dry as a bone so far - I've done about 50 miles and I still need to get a better clearance on the exhaust - but apart from that I'm well pleased :-) Time will tell for the rest !!

Can't hear my twin silencer LCB exhaust system. The diff makes too much noise!!!

I went with the twin silencer LCB etc in the end and I'm happy with the noise level. Not intrusive but sporty enough and even a bit farty too :-)
