Well it says on my tube of loctite its not suitable for plastic, wood or stainless steel fasteningsbmcecosse wrote:I'm sure you CAN use Loctite! That's a new one on me !
But yes - stainless and mild steel do cause a galvanic cell, and the steel rots. How long it takes I suppose depends on dampness and how good the 'contact' between the two metals. Zinc plated screws/bolts are very much safer.
