I was not suggesting a 'conspiracy', but just as you say, misleading info, depending on who you ask.

No I know but these things things do seem to get blown out of proportion. I didn't mean to imply you'd suggested there was a 'conspiracy'. This certainly has dragged on for a while now. Hopefully things like this won't reoccur. I know a friend of mine has been waiting for a new 803cc oil filter for ages. Luckily a supplier managed to locate some NOS ones for her but hopefully there should be new ones of those in the future. Maybe not.. maybe they want us to buy Peugots!!!

If push come to shove J - you may need to ask those interested to stump up advance payment for sets of kingpins to be manufactured. The money could be held in an escrow account until the satisfactory parts are delivered. At least you will be able to judge the demand for these new parts!
