Only place I know for 3/8 BSF is the rear cylinder connections and T piece on the axle !

Have you tried an m10 x1 fitting ? It's the most likely thread.
I'm becoming quite mystified by this Andrew - what is it you actually need? You say you have a Goodridge flexi - is the problem what the threads are on the ends of that flexi ? Are both ends 'male' ? What do (will) the ends fit into ?? Is it intended to connect a brake caliper to a bundy pipe ? If so - what make is that caliper ? Does the flexi fit the caliper 'properly'. A 3/8"UNF male thread will seem to screw into an m10x1 hole - but if you try to tighten it, it will strip out easily. An m10 x1 male thread will not go into a 3/8" threaded hole. Very very few vehicles use the 3/8" BSF thread - only Minor rear axle and TR 2/2a/3 rear wheel cylinders that I know of.

I may have got it (sure I did get it) wrong - should be original front Minor fitment, male union. Sorry if I did -can't be bothered looking it up :(

...and after throwing caution to the breeze, it does fit, just tighter than on the standard flexi, coupled with my reluctance to strip the thread on a pretty expensive part. We live and learn, there is no choice. Case closed
