I can't see any pics. I missed the weekends big event as I was up the top of the field being a marshall

I thought you were only marshall until 11am? You had plenty of time to see the dogs and clowns

Whatever gave you that idea?
I think you may have corrupted Sidney61
He was last seen as 4th crew member in an all lady raft team during the inter branch challenge so you may be right

We need to work out what the initiation ceremony is for 'newbies'.
Sidney was bravely remaining with the 'Rust Squeeeze' while we discussed his 'progress' into the club

An I thort you all were respectable folk.
I'm gonna have to retract all my positive statements at this rate

And I can take 'told you so' from you
Just a bit embarrassed, that's all. Sorry

Hey ... did I miss something? No need for
you to be sorry.
I'm very tired from sleeplesscampingness [goodness, is there such an expression?]. The weather was NOISEY!
You are missed on many levels and it's a shame you feel uncomfy but it might be good for you to know.

That's because the other girl (Peetee) left early.
Thanks to all concerned for making it a great weekend. It was really important for me to 'step outside the box' so to speak, for a couple of days.
I drove back the long way in an attempt to find a petrol station (3rd one, 20 miles from the venue was open

) by which time I was contemplating tipping the undrunk 1/5 of Saturday nights bottle of vino into the fuel tank cos it was so low

.
The rest of the journey was peachy. I'm amazed to report that on a sunny, warm day it's possible to drive a convertible with the roof down for 4 hours and up to 75mph and still exit unruffled and fresh - albeit with a face that resembles an electric beetroot.
Pass the Sudocream darling - the last application has boiled off already.

Glad everyone had a good time event though I was only there for the Damp Saturday but it wasn't to bad, nice to see that Neil made it inspite of a very painful looking leg, and I assume the Yellow one was Martins latest V8 creation.

Oh boy. I was tired last night!
I thought Judge wrote "Aw shuks" as a joke, meaning.... shame it was a respectable event in Roger's 'tent'.....
Sorry for the confusion.

It's true....Peetee is NOT a girl !!!
For some strange reason I thought he was. Until I met him of course.
Glad you didn't have to use the wine for fuel.
Electric beetroot?

You are only saying that because he was over a foot taller than yourself

I really liked the way they'd not raked it (personal preference) and had been avoiding roof chops in the past due to not having the ability to sort out fblended 3d curves around the rear screen...
food for thought for me

Hi all, thanks for all being so kind and friendly to me over the weekend, I really enjoyed it! It was nice to meet you all in person (even though it was at times slightly scary! hehe)
As for the raft thing...

... I'm never going to live that down am I!! But in my defence I was covering for an injured member and I only knew I was doing it at the last minute, oh well, it was fun anyway.

The look on your face when someone in the crowd shouted "come on ladies" was priceless!

hello all
just wanted to say hi, and thanks for the cake Squiggle! (Megan really enjoyed it

) - it was nice to meet lots of you (Alex, Squiggle, Rodger_Rust et al!) . I promise I won't lurk so much in the future!
I tried to find you lot on the Sunday but I couldn't find the gazebo - I know why now!
we had a top time - even though we weren't there for long.
See you all next year?!
Rupert
