Yep, did that - Todays test route has been a short trip round the block (though it's a fairly big block..). No obvious difference between temps by handometer, and no sign of binding/ fade being the problem.
I might try and get one of those free brake tests at whichever tyre place is currently doing them in the next few days. I'm not convinced the pulling is brake related now, just highlighted under braking - However, a run on the rollers would confirm that or at least point me to the problem corner if it is in fact still the brakes at fault.

Oooh - do tell about the 'free' brake test - that would be a really handy pre-MOT check.

Lots of the big chains offer free tests every so often to try and get you to part with cash. Looks like Kwak Fit are the only ones doing it at the moment though.
Of course it's a loss leader for them - While they're checking the brakes they're hoping to find something they can tell you is very dangerous and needs doing immediately - They'll just happen to have the parts in stock...
Of course, your tyres could also be worse than you thought (one chain tried to tell me I needed new tyres before they'd set the tracking, as mine were illegal - The car had been MOT'd 3 hours earlier), and that thin release oil looking stuff on your shocks is really them leaking. Oh, and your exhaust is looking quite tired...
OK, so they're not all like that, one or two places round here here are very straight and one place even told me just to wind a couple of turns to get my tracking spot on rather than charge me 25 quid for it after the free check

While you are re-bushing have a good look at the area of the chassis leg that the eyebolt passes through.

Ohh I'm sure Kwack Fut and others offer a brake check - but I suspect just a visual exam - didn't realise a run on the rollers was included. Can anyone confirm/had this done ?

A few years ago I had a free test on the rollers at National during one of their promotions.
I'm fairly sure (too many cars needing too much spannering clouds the memory) I had the same again at ATS 4 or 5 years ago.
I suppose it all depends on the promotion, the chain and the staff at said chain.

Oh well - if anyone comes up with a definite free roller run - I'm sure they will come back to us!
