Was your Beetle dark red with a small caravan in cream and dark red to match? we have pictures of it because we thought the caravan was just the right size for a Morris Minor!

You mention above that Minor suspension is very hard! This is not normal - but will happen if the rear springs are 'tired' or overloaded and the car then sits firmly on it's bump stops! Then there is virtually NO suspension - and something is likely to break. New springs are not expensive - and not difficult to fit.

Hello Britany, yes Vikki could tow a caravan but I dont like towing either! I prefer a tent!
It has snowed here and our Morris Minors all have a hat of snow on them. The sun is now out and they're shining in the sunlight. Are you going on the MOT this year - we can't I afraid too much to do at home.

Just a suggestion,
Can one of the mods start a new thread starting from Brittanys first post?
I think it would help the continuity
Thanks

If the suspension is still hard - it must be caused by the Spax dampers. Are they adjustable ?

Hmm - not really - if new leaf springs fitted it should sit clear of the rear bump stops - about 40mm gap ?

Dont worry about the "link" we can find out where you are on the Messageboard>

Where did you get your spax shock absorbers from - and English supplier - if we know we may be able to help you adjust yours to make your traveller more confortable to drive.
