I totally agree Judge.
I'm just surprised that the clubs PR person doesn't appear to look at this site

. There's been some posts in the past that could have generated some good publicity for the club.
If you have an e-mail address and can check your e-mails then presumably you should be able to log onto the site without too much difficulty?

Forgive me for speaking out against the OC on their own forum, but having been on here for a good while now it does seem that the lack of involvment from the majority of committee members within the club on this forum is a major issue. I realise that they are all busy people, but arn't we all yet we all find time to make the odd post and add our opinion on matters that affect us. The forum is a great medium for instant contact with the clubs members and potential members but it seems largly ignored. Maybe I'm reading too much into it but this distance between committee and members does make the club look very elite and out of touch with the real world.

I did raise the question of the use of the board by committee members on more than one occasion.

sorry to drift off-topic, but can I ask you about your minilites? I think Abigail deserves a set this year but I'm on standard hubs so I'm not too sure about them. Are you on standard hubs and if so what size wheels are you using, where from, etc? I'd wait til the national and badger you there but last year we didn't manage to get to chat til late Sat nite in the beer tent and by then I was plastered
