I run 145 14's on the front and 155 14's on the rear. I had a shock when I compared the outer diameter of the 145's to that of the original crossplys I had sitting in the garden. The 145's were an inch smaller which really does not help any motorway cruising, not to mention the accuracy of the speedo! I didn't realise that there would be any difference in diameter between 145 and 155 but then I read that the depth of the tyre (80) is a proportion of its width, so........ wider tyre=deeper tyre. . . . I guess
