According to steveys link http://www.morrisminoroc.co.uk/modules. ... =0&thold=0 the minor that was shown in Miss Marple was a green 2-door NWL 576, now wasn't that the first ever minor off the production line?

There have been several in Miss Marple - I think NWL 576 (no 1) was in "The Body in the library" & an ex Ray Newell Car NRR 84 (see front cover of "Original Morris Minor" book) was in "Murder at the Vicarage" - both of these are the Joan Hickson versions.

Here are a few more I've remembered.

"The Chinese Detective" - He drove a Traveller
"Howards Way" - Mrs Howards Mother drove a Traveller
"Sorry" - Ronnie Corbett drove a Black Series 11 Saloon
"Home & Away" - Dani Sutherland drove a lowlight Saloon

"Carry on, Doctor" - a couple visible below the roof-top sun-bathing scene (if you can take your eyes off the the other couple with Barabara Windsor).

BBC "Timewatch" investigating UFO sightings used our Panda. As a bit of trivia, they removed the interior rear-view mirror to get a better view with the camera.

I sold my Rotten Van to a film hire company, but was still surprised to see it in an episode of So Graham Norton.
A little while later it was on some sort of crime thriller, Trial and Retribution or something like that. It was the killers delivery van. It still had it's original number of RDL 200H.The registration was even stated in the programme as the Police did a check on the van's owner.

i like the mistake in Ice cold in Alex, set during the war and a the end they drive in to safety and theres a good old minor there!!! As a matter of note they wind up a big sand dune by taking te plugs out and winding up on the starting handle in revrse. Ive done this up the drive but is exhausting!!!!

David showed me the mis marple episode and it is the 1st one off the line, not green as we all know!!!

Thats the coolest thing have heard on this board yet

Obviously the Morris Dancer wasnt one of your fellow mods or you might have lost
Well they did film about 4 different endings so until it was shown I didnt know the televised result and if it had been a fellow mod I might have had to use the delete button  but none of the mods have ever owned up to Morris Dancing but there might be some on the board.

Over the break I was watching some Monty Python on DVD. There are a few in the backgrounds there but the most obvious is its appearance as one of the "Killer Cars" in episode 22.

Not screen or TV - but the dreadful new Silverburn shopping shed in Glasgow has some blanking paper which they put over the windows of the empty shops (quite a few) - and it has the outline shape of a Minor Traveller as part of the 'design'!

(a joke you will only get if you have been to Silverburn)

Police Stop 6! has one... in the background - a tourer that a wayward youth runs past (while being chased by the police) - as viewed from a helicopter. Time viewed: half a second. Colour: blue :)
