I've just noticed that in the new listing they've added:
THIS ITEM HAS BEEN RELISTED BECAUSE A BUYER BID AND WANTED US TO END EARLY SO WE DID ONLY TO DISCOVER THAT THIS MEMBER THOUGHT HE COULD PUT IT ONTO HIS MERCEDES THE NEXT DAY.
What a plonker!

I totally agree, all people called Ian should be beaten for being such troublemakers.

If its non transferable, then it can only be worth what any normal Minor in similar condition is worth,so why on earth does he want so much?

He pays £15000, says it now owes him nothing yet turns down £20000 as it's not enough. Surely if it "owes him nothing" then £20000 (or £5000 profit) cash in his hand is more what any non transferable no. plate is worth.
Sounds plain greedy to me - as well as stupid (not "mad" as that might have some legitimate medcial reason).
My opinion is well see this floating around for ages and then sell for an "undisclosed sum"
