russell harvey has done more for the morris minor commercial or lcv than anyone i know of.
I have never heard anyone say different and I have read the books

even though I have no interest in owning an LCV.
i see no reason why his book can not be mentioned, by him or by others.
We have gone over this many times before the author under the terms and conditions is not allowed to advertise because its seen as commercial gain, have you seen any of the other Authors on the notice board.
how many moderators have done this for the cars !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sorry I didnt know we had

to especially when the subject has been well covered in books by Ray, Jon Pressnell, Lindsay Porter and others.
i personally feel its about time the terms and conditions were revamped
But what will you do about it Dennis apart from complain on here about the moderators.
You suggest that moderators should be writers but what have you written about our beloved cars.
You suggest the T & C need changing but do you go to the AGM no, do you write in with some proposals no, do you actually come up with some constructive improvements no.
To be fair Dennis all you do is complain which I dont mind as it gives a bit of variety but to keep going on about the same things time and time again and doing nothing about it apart from criticising others who are doing something about trying to make our beloved cars available to a wider audience

.
And after last years AGM I would have thought the complainers might take a fuller part in the AGM this year as they missed all the valid points including the reasons why the message board was near to being closed down because of complaints but no.
I look forward to valid complaints but wingeing for wingeings sake does no one any good and just rubs people up the wrong way, please dont take this the wrong way but remember actions speak louder than words and long live a smooth running Message Board

kevin ,,,,,my comments are not whinging as you put it, and personally i do not like your remarks about this, and you suggest all i do is complain well thats your opinion i guess and everyone is entitled to an opinion
i was not suggesting that moderators should be writers
i was merely pointing out what russel has done for the lcv, and yes he does get knocked about it
well will get off soap box now then

Rules are rules, and we accept the T&C when we join the Forum.
Are rules always fair? No, but then life seldom is all the time.
As for Moderators, they do this for FREE, and out of the love for the Morris Minor and it's owners/members of the MMOC. Despite rumours to the contrary, Moderators are human like the rest of us and deserve the same respect we expect from others.
To those who have taken the trouble to write books about the Morris Minor, a big thank you and keep up the great work.
FWIW, I haven't read a bad book about the Morris Minor, so if you get the chance, buy them all.
Now where were we.
