I honestly believe it's worth it. It even still has the paper 'Deluxe' body sticker on the bulkhead :D

in 'Classic and sports car' magazine
Thanks Sidney :D I wondered if it was a different mag to the one he said! The guy I mentioned reads a lot of different classic car mags.

I do enjoy borrowing his classic car mag's from time to time to see how the rest of the world is getting on (and to look for Mk2 Jags and/or Type 2 campers) but if there's ever a Minor article it's usually got some journalistic license in amonst a few facts and non facts.

There have always been people willing to pay top dollar to have a car restored, but if someone trys to tell me a tidy minor will fetch £10k on the private sales market I tend to give them a funny look.
Traveller prices have been pretty good over the last 18 months, but I'm not expecting saloons to start doubling in value just yet.

Bill - your car at £15k ??? If someone wanted one as good as that and paid for a restoration, it's not likely to be half as good by the time they'd spent £15k on it.

There was an article about CW in the last edition of Classic Cars for Sale - perhaps that's where the idea of £10k came from ? But then - []

Is anyone on here able to prove that £10k is genuine?
If so, I'll tidying mine up to sell
I wouldn't care if my Traveller was worth £10K or 10p. It would make no difference to me, I still wouldn't sell it. Enthusiasm for the cars has to go above and beyond their supposed monetary value. That magazine is wrong to place such a value on monetary value versus the real value to the owner.

Snap! ... Masie is more than a car to me .. she's my other woman ... requires constant attention and an incessant drain on my finances ... still I love her to bits ... little ones .. scattered all over the garage floor with me stood scratchin my head looking puzzled!
