I'm not sure about that - happy to be wrong, but it's something I never heard of/saw until very recently. I'm no Madness fan though - ask Alex Holden, he'll know.

It's before I was born so I only know what I've read on the net, but I believe they used that name for one show because they found out the name they had been using (The Invaders) was already taken. None of the band members were called Morris. They quickly renamed themselves Madness after the Prince Buster song of the same name.
