There doesn't look like much support for Camping and Sunday so I suggest we just go with Saturday the Museum and a scenic drive and perhaps one shandy before breaking up.

Slim to 50% chance I might make it :D but wont know for a week - and sadly wont be in the scabby trav - Orkney hire van perhaps :o
Heading south about then, but date not fixed yet to give the olds a hand moving house and bringing back some stuff they wont be taking abroad. (like the entire contents of a workshop which have never been used :-) )
If the dates coincide within a day or two will definitely be there, better hit fleabay for a tent just in case :D

Orkney,
shouldn't need to camp unless you really want to... But if so, I can lend you a tent. If you're coming let me know and I'll see if I've got any moggy parts that you need.
Ray.

Cheers Ray - could borrow a trailer and take that assembled selection of parts you drove up here off your hands if you like :-)
'IF' it works out timing wise then could raid Bills door stock too :-)
Probably going to get a tent anyway, as will be doing a couple of trips south in scabby next year, but thinking about it wont really need one just yet with an empty sprinter type van for this trip :-)

Yup I'm still up for it. 3 weeks to go, and major surgery on the trav (started a thread in general discussion) unfortunately even if I get it all done I dont think I will be able to get up there in it because the engine has only run for about 40 minutes total so far, but dont entirely discount the possibility
