Despite appearances, I'm not actually american... We moved out here from england about a year ago. I'm introducing many americans to the charms of the morris minor, though!
That sounds like a serious set of mechanics for a moggy :o how does it go? Pretty damn fast, I'd imagine (at least in Morris terms). Mine's still fitted with a more sedate 1098!
The poll on general topics says there're about three more people of my age, and several between fifteen and twenty- I haven't seen any of the three though, and you're only the second of your kind of age! I agree, it's nice to find some young enthusiasts keepng the Morris going into the next generations!

Actually it's not done yet-i still need to wire it. I'm basically sitting on my hands until one of buddies helps me as he has just did a nissan 240sx conversion into an mgb.

Lol 1098's and 1275's are good little motors. I use to drive my 1275 all over the place, even on the california freeway which averages like 80 mph.

I've only seen one other morris minor besides mine.

How did you find Morris Minors then? Was it that other one which got your interest?
80mph? Hmm... Well, I just rebuilt my engine, so that might help me get a little more pace. Before I couldn't do more than 65, hopefully things have changed!
By the way, what type of Morris do you have? Mine's a two-door white '59.

I searched volkswagen beetle on the online classified ads and it came up. I originally was going to but one but i thought the morris was a much nicer looking car and the FR setup was more appealing to me.
