the seller had replyed with the chassis was good and didn't need any welding.
crumbs - this guy really did want to end up in court (or he had very very very rose tinted glasses!!)

Ah well - good luck with the project! :D

I hope it all turns out OK and that the cheque has cleared, because the Garage would have been closed down and its MOT testing status removed for issuing a certificate like that one, as one of our branch members had a similar issue with a 4 door saloon last year and the garage have stumped up for the correct repairs to be done which was quite a bit of money as they didnt want a fuss :wink:

Please say that you asked for a special presentation like I said. Otherwise you could find that the cheque has appeared to clear into your account but might still be returned unpaid a few days later!

If you didn't leave at least three weeks before you even think of drawing against the cheque! Trust me on this, I work for a major high street bank. The amount of people I see getting screwed with bouncy cheques is untrue!!!
