i know the site as English Heritage have their big bash there each year, Griff and I help out. Won't mention the amount of swearing. The main fields are all properly drained - and I mean really well drained, downpours disappear in seconds. The only bits which don't seem to drain are the access roads, so the metallic road surface being laid down will solve that one. *touches wood* all will be well

Juliet , Thanks for your reassuring comments about the site , I was becoming a little concerned . I am planning to camp overnight today and tomorrow arriving at teatime . I was very much hoping that someone with local knowledge would post .

Hi, have been away so not able to get entry form sent off. Can I just turn up on the day and pay entry - I won't be in my minor as it's currently up on axle stands - one rear chassis leg replaced, one more and two spring hangers to go!
