M16, I agree 5-7 coats are probably required for solid colour ,but your finish is being decided by the clear coat, I'm nor criticising your method, just curious.
Les, a fair amount has been written on a previous post about celly paint and techniques, but I cannot remember which one, I'm sure a quick search will find it out for you. The trouble I see is that if we registered to supply celly paint, then we need to pay a registration fee, and even then we are at the mercy of the main paint paint suppliers in our area deciding that the demand from us would warrant them deciding to stock it.
