Ian,
You charge a high price for your help, splashing pictures a fellow's private parts all across the web for the world to see! But clearly we have here an Original Thinker - perhaps compexity for the love of it. A man after me own heart! Is it possible for you to persuade him(her?) to tell us what & why has been done? And did he get away with just a wrecked bonnet?
Re critism of the wiring, I don't see any croc-clips anywhere - so its better than mine! And look how that brake pipe bends straight after coming out the doobry thingy - I've got a few of them!

It splits the front and rear brakes to balance the pressure between the front discs and rear drums.

It 'compensates' !! No doubt all tuned up for the Nissan thingy - but I still wonder why 5 (or maybe 6) pipes - the Mini does that job with 4 pipes.

BTW, BMC says the Wolseley 1500 front drums use the same size cylinders as the standard Moggy front drums, which should make them better all round.
Not stricktly true as the proper size Wolseley cylinders are far more expensive than Moggie ones, however the Moggie ones will fit the backplates with a few adjusments.

I meant the same bore diameter.

Yes same bore - I just don't understand why different length cylinders were used on the Wolseley - otherwise they are exactly the same design. The additional expense I guess is just down to rarity - the Minor ones being relatively mass produced - even today.

Sorry, I cant tell you any more. The bloke bought it off Ebay about 4 weeks ago. It came from down Bucks or Berks. The seller didn't convert it himself and he only owned it for about 6 months.
Anybody down that neck of the woods recognise it. Black 4, door about '59 I think. One piece screen but with clap hands wipers. Also set of Wolfrace wheels all round. Oh and welded on rear wings
