
Do you mean that with discs you get better braking for the same swept area? Or that for a given brake fluid pressure you get higher pad-disc friction and hence better braking? (Part of my job is working out what delegates are really trying to find out when they ask a question

I'm totally sold on discs - there's a really good reason why every single car sold today has discs at least on the front, and that's because they stop better for longer.
