The upright panels either side of the engine bay - or a slab of wood, or a side of bacon :)

Ah the silver bell bit with the slidy up and down bit inside....I think thats the technical term for it :wink:

Had a lot going on at home but back on with bluey now
Got the other wing off to reveal errr a damb big hole aaarrgghh

Engine and gearbox to come out this weekend then some time wth the rotary wire brush to see what needs cutting out at the front.

Thats normal when you take the wing of a Minor- still needs to be repaired but a lot of cars are out there running around with inner wings in a simmilar state.

All repairable, all panels available- keep up the good work!

As an aside can anyone tell me if the Blue in the last (interior) picture is origional and what the name of it is??

Looks very much like Henley Blue, as used by Austin-Rover in the late 80's, early 90's...

A similar colour used on the Minor was Clipper Blue, but I think the shade on Bluey is a bit too bright to be that.
