I would encourage you all to wear correctly adjusted seat belts and to avoid lap belts.

I have found some videos which may be of interest:

Still dont want to wear a seat belt?? Try these 2......

i crashed a 67 mustang last year which had lap belts. I spent 3 weeks in hospital after the belt shifted my inards in to my backside!!!!

DO NOT USE LAP BELTS USE 3 POINT BELTS ALWAYS!!

AND WEAR THEM TOO!!

i have to agree i do not understand why people do not put the belts on, i do between 35,000 - 45,000 miles a year and the worst thing at the moment is people on the phone! this is holding it, not on hands free! it seems that the law is changed to make things `better` and as long as it does not suit it is ignored, while this is happening no action seems to be taken by the police against these people.
at the end of the day if you do not have your belt when you have an accident (not if and this may not be your fault as you are a SAFE driver!) then you will at very best be hurt if not killed. if you really care about your family or friends you would not deprive them of your company!

rant over and i wish you all have a safe life of driving!
