THEY ARE A PAIN IN THE BACK SIDE TO FIT.

EVEN GETTING THE RUBBER ON IS A PAIN.

TAHTS IT, IM CHOPPING MY ROOF OFF AND MKING IT INTO A CONVERTIBLE.....ANYTHING TO NOT FIT THE BLOOMING REAR SCREEEN.

GRRRRRRRRRR....THIS IS SOOOO ANNOYING.
IVE GOT THE FRONT SCREEN TO DO NEXT AND THATS NOT GOING TO BE ANY EASIER.

I HATE WINDOWS.....................

Oh, ive just com inside after trying to fit my rear screen. Thrown my teddies out of the pram.

Well you seem to have done it now, but basically when pulling at the string, make circular movements with your pulling hand to ease the rubber over the lip. Think of the shape of a cone pointing to where the string meets the rubber and your hand following round the base of the cone.
