No charge for bicycles verses £1.00 toll and £3.00 parking for a car. No contest in my view - plus it's quicker by bike in rush hour.

wiper motor

Peetee, one of the posts re the order of wiring of the wiper motor suggested
from the top, black, green, and green/black. From your pic of the successful
wiring you used to remove the fault this was not the correct order so was that
why you were blowing the fuse?

It might have been. I rewired on the assumption that the green/black and green wires were live feeds and had to be on the bottom two terminals because they were located on insulated circuit board. The third contact was visibily earthed to the motor body.
