well the only trouble with the kit is you have to build up the tunnel cover which in turn wears through the gaitor
give it a miss
i had one of these kits on my pick up, oh yes it works very well once set up

It was only a casual thought - I want it as a light for the bed as well, so a switch is the way to go, really.

I wrote:

As for switch position, I put mine above the existing choke switch along with a panel bulb to reduce the likelyhood of leaving it on when driving forwards
