nope - the concours forum should have a completely blank post - just like it left the manufacturer's. The other users are perfectly entitled to modify other posts how they see fit with text and pictures, and some even use smilies :o
, but they are all surely just 'modified' posts.

How could I say 'No' to a MM wheel?

Has to be in Empire Green tho
Mist green, Grey, Black or rust is all I have I'm afraid. 8)
"No problem, 1 wheel, the MM Rally, a few sheets of wet or dry, some masking tape, high build primer and Empire Green top coat, and we have an even happier Chrissie "

Ha ha. Chrissie is already well happy with the generous support and kindness from so many folk!

I've got some Empire Green paint.... Could bring it with me.

Should I get some washers just incase I need to use the poorly spare on the way to Boston?

If so, what do I get folks?

Ta.

If you do want it sprayed up Chrissie, just bring along the items I have mentioned previously, I'm sure we can do a reasonable job. Can't we Cam

Wheel Nuts

The Maxi wheel nuts were indeed larger than MM bolts, ie 3/4 in A/F. and will tighten a worn wheel. There are also 2 sizes of MM wheel bolts. I will bring both to the rally and we can have a play around. I would rather lose a bit of originality than a wheel at 60mph on the motorway. Incidently you won't need an X-ray machine to see a crack in the wheel.

Only kidding Bill. We'll have a good mess around with some paint and Mike's wheel securing arrangements. :D

Trouble is though that all my spare MM wheels (in fact all of them) have either no tyres on or have crossplies! I think Chrissie is on radials all round. :o

And remember guys, never mix crossplies and radials on the same axle or your Ausin 1100 will flip over... I saw it in an ad :-)

Yes, the famous one. It's on the 'net somewhere. I had it on my old hard-drive until it went pop!
