Where would be the fun in owning a car that spent all winter in the garage?

The Minors great crack in the snow, skinny tyres cut right through it. Just remember to put hat and gloves on, tartan blankets to block up the draughts and a few breeze blocks in the boot to give some weight on the back axle!!
Seriously though, Ive always driven mine through the winter and the only mod Ive got is a heated back window in the blue saloon. Just keep it well polished and plenty of waxoil undereneath.

The 'fun' is in it still being in one piece come the spring! I do take it out, in fact was out today - but only when dry and NO salt about! Salt is the killer !!

and a few breeze blocks in the boot
breeze blocks are not so useful - they're too light. I used to have some heavy bits of concrete in the boot of mine for driving in thick snow.
Once I had to put the choke on to keep revs up (in 2nd gear) and got out and pushed... then chased the car. I was in my late teens so wasn''t hard to catch it
FWD does take the skill out of snow driving (although on tuesday I was amazed at how hard people can make it look!)

Glad weve got a winner - thought i was going to have try this one:

And Clee Hill is certainly not a mountain, though the tallest around on the Shropshire Worcestershire border, and snowcapped if you squint... Though its an excuse to show off the new traveller!
I found for traction, a tall oxegen bottle from a gas welding set worked well yesterday. Better still when full on the way back from boc...
next challenge please!

How about a Minor ON a beach (rust preventatives permitting!)?

Fear not, people; no Mogs were harmed in the taking of that photo. I don't think Mynydd Maen has ever seen a gritting lorry; I used to live up there, and when the snow came down you waited for the thaw, walked, or butted through it in a Landrover. Bumpity bumpity.
Oh dear, my turn? How about a Moggy with a cow? (this is not because I have a hidden agenda....

Alex says to post that the next challenge is:
