My car was at the show and you have made many derogatory and insulting remarks about it, probably more than any other custom on the field, and you say you've not seen it?

What derogatory and insulting remarks were they?

I’ve been involved with Minors for over 25 years now and it’s clear that some owners of standard Minors have very strong views about customising, same as some owners of custom/modified cars have very strong views about standard cars, but the vast majority of owners that I’ve met - and members on here - aren’t really bothered about what someone else has done to their own Minor.

If someone decides to post up a photo & link to a build thread to their car on a message board then it’s expected that people are going to post up their opinions. Some will like the vehicle, others won’t, but everyone is entitled to their own views. However, personal comments or derogatory remarks either about individuals, or groups of individuals, are completely unnecessary and it’s a pity when differing points of views can’t be aired without things getting out of hand, as they have here. If kingzdjc & mgfw (alias hotrod) wish to carry on their discussions please do so via pm.

Seeing as a ‘truce’ has been called I think it’s time to lock this thread (plus 3 separate requests to do so have just been received!). If anyone has any issues about the thread being locked please contact me via pm to discuss, and if anyone has other national rally photos that they’d like to post please start another thread.
