Thanks for the thought Petee - how about the Filly Inn - just south of Brockenhurst on the Lymington Rd?

Car park is a good size.
Regards, Mike.

Right Calling All Sadmoggers

On Thurs Eve (7th Feb) I formally invite you to Maudes Wake. Its a bring a spanner party as at the very least I need to get the engine/gearbox out and Ideally get it mostly stripped down.
All interested parties let me know and I'll sort out some maps/directions.

I suggest if the weather stays as cold as this you wear thermals cos the workshop is a bit chilly :) :)

I'll be there providing Mike doesn't insist in leading us all in a rendition of Abide With Me.

Wouldn't 'The Yellow roads of Texas' be more appropriate?

Should be able to make it but I know where you are anyway... what time you thinking? and are you going to provide "refreshments"? ;)

All together to the tune of Yellow Rose of Texas.....

"Oh... the Yellow Rose of Sholing
You aint seen nuthin' finer
No car can come that close to
That vibrant yellow minor

But now she got the tinworm
She done gone fell apart
He's gonna salvage bits from her
So He can go restart...

...A...n...o...t...h...e...r...
Yellow rose of sholing
But it might just be grey
Whatever colour might turn out
It'll cheer Sadmog's PaulK"

....Thunderous applause - bows exiting stage left muttering "Thankyou - thankyou - thankyou..."

No how about "Abide with me..."?

So where abouts is the wake?
