after i etch primed the panel i red scotched the hole panel , then i sealed any joints on the inside of the panel and i also spred a bead of black pu sealer along the inside and out side edge of the wheel arch section , this was to prevent any rust forming from stone chips later on[frame][/frame]

after the pu sealer cured i red scotched the sealer to key it up ready to stone chip the inside[frame][/frame]

kent 404 spray sealer[frame][/frame]

after the sealer cured i used something new to me in the paint world , its been around for a while but iv only just started using it , a primer that is applied with a paint roller its fantastic if a paint gun cant be used ,so using it at home would be grate for us guys with projects !! its a two part product primer/hardener ,mix together and roll away[frame][/frame]

it goes on really nice , and its high build too . i gave the wing 6 coats , you can let it air dry ,but i used a infra red lamp to help[frame][/frame]

il be using this on all of the outside of the car , its so simple to use and i highly recommend it , but like all the products i use , other products are available ![frame][/frame]

hi all, today was the day the morris got picked up for acid dipping , i used the company envirostrip ,and the chap that picked the car up was very friendly and helpfull , so ,so far so good , im just hoping the car doesnt dissolve to nothing ,here are some pictures of the pick up ,[frame][/frame]

the shell is finally back , and i must say enviro strip has done a fantastic job , here are some picks of whats left[frame][/frame]

it looks all clean and solid on the top half of the shell,[frame][/frame]

there the rear seats should be is very solid apart from a few holes[frame][/frame]

Barrie, seems a very useful product. Is it easy to sand or does it dry flat ready for the top coat?

Have you tried rolling a two-pack top coat which would be ideal paint solution for DIYers?

Hi there , this primer is designed to be a high build product , this means that it should be sanded down , but saying that if you thin it down enough with paint thinners , it should sit nice and flat , . But there are products out there that do the same job , like wet on wet primer , ,which is very thin you spray one coat ,let it air dry and then paint straight over it , hope this helps
