As Orkney is close to the end of the run, I am as close to the start, 10 miles from lands end, there is a camp site next door to our farm ( the owner has two moggies ) so I think you could get good rates for camping, I also have a workshop and a pit plus plenty of tools etc if anyone requires the use of them.
I wish I could join you on the trip but farms and holidays don't go together.

Cool, thanks a lot. Can you post their location and contact details please? Sorry you won't be able to come...

How many cars will be taking part is that known yet? Interested so I can let the local rag know.
I'll make sure to get some nice pics of everyone coming off the ferry.
Weathers looking good on the longterm forecast at this stage.
Anyone who hasn't sorted accommodation will be pushed to do so by now, as i said before plenty of fields here if anyone wants to stick a tent up or if the weather gets bad the new double garage should be finished next week
Once everyones plans are a bit more sorted will have to see about arranging a bbq or somesuch

I'm a little disappointed really Kevin, but at the moment only four cars, two of those being mine and my daughter's, are doing the run
Oh well, maybe when the others read the report and see the pictures, we will have a few more next year.
However I am really sorry that there are not more this time, it would have been good to promote the Morris Minor at the Orkney Vintage Show with a goodly number of cars

I've just booked my ferry - does that make 5 cars now Bill?

Unfortunately not Ray, you were already included. The list is as follows:
Lesley & myself in one car
Onne & Victoria in one car
Alex in one car
and of course yourself in one car
Reading some threads, I honestly thought that we would get quite a number together. Never mind, it was worth a try

Well 4 isn't bad !
Quite a decent amount of people who are stark raving mad oops i mean enthusiastic enough to do the trip
Think you'll only get 4 going back though - that Fenchurch is looking kidnappable

I'm already in for Bandon next year not to mention Minors On Tour wherever they send us this time (the Alps, so the rumours go), plus the usual round of regional and National et al so I'm gonna have to be reasonably realistic and say that'll be enough, but for what its worth I *am* jealous and would have loved to have added that to our calendar. Good luck on the trip and hope the weather holds out for you all

Thanks Mike. As it is, I think that this years MOT has put 2 of the cars in good stead for the LEO

(and for those of you that didn't go, and therefore do not understand, I shall explain
'it rained'
)
